Particle Abatement

 

Several technologies exist for particle filtration and can be classified according to their abatement efficiency in terms of particle size:

We only offer highly efficient technologies (in red in the table), able to remove very fine particles, smaller than 1µm, always present in difficult emissions, like oil haze & smoke.

 

The criteria for selecting a technology are:

 

1. emission T°

 

2. emission humidity

 

3. the particle properties:

  • its size
  • its consistency: solid or liquid
  • its surface property: sticky or non sticky, ionisable or non ionisable
  • its composition: metallic or non metallic

If the T° is high, an Electrofilter Column or a Cyclonic Heat Exchanger is recommended

 

If the humidity is high, a Venturi washer or a Cyclonic Heat Exchanger is recommended
