Activated Carbon

Activated carbon can efficently absorb most of the volatile organic carbon, as long as the T° is below 40°C and the relative humidity below 85%.

The smaller the VOC structure and boiling point, the weaker the adsorption. Small VOCs, like formaldehyde, methanol, methyl chloride ... do not adsorb on activated carbon!

Activated Carbon can absorb maximum 30% of its weight. It is recommended for emissions containing low VOC concentrations and/or for discontinuous applications.

For purchase of activated carbon, please contact your local supplier

AQC only sells housings containing cassettes of activated carbon. This concept is recommended for reducing the pressure drop on the filter. For more information, please contact us.
