The air temperature and relative humidity

The air temperature and relative humidity in indoor environment should be around 21C 2C and 50% 5% respectively.

Impact on human health

  • A lower relative humidity starts drying the skin; the saliva and the mucus on the eyes and in the trachea.

  • A higher relative humidity is dangerous in terms of microbial development and contamination.
Both situations lead to personnel discomfort
